I Parry Everything is officially getting a second season! Announced during Earth Star Novels’ 10th Anniversary Festival, the anime will continue Noor’s journey from mountain recluse to unexpected hero.
The announcement was made during the Earth Star Novels 10th Anniversary Summer Festival, with a brand-new key visual released to mark the occasion.
Based on the light novel series written by Nabeshiki and illustrated by Kawaguchi, I Parry Everything follows the story of Noor, a quiet but determined young man who spent over a decade in isolation training at a remote mountain.
Armed with nothing but the skill to parry literally everything, he arrives in the royal capital to chase his dream of becoming an adventurer.
What is unknown to him is that the Kingdom of Clays is on the brink of chaos following an assassination attempt on Princess Lynneburg. His journey is about to intertwine with events that could reshape the continent.
The first season, which aired from July to September 2024 and is streaming on HIDIVE, was directed by Dai Fukuyama at Studio OLM. Shigeru Murakoshi handled series composition, with character designs by Chikako Noma.
The music was composed by BeauDamian and Tatsuhiko Saiki. Voice talents include Daiki Hamano as Noor, Ryoko Maekawa as Princess Lynneburg Clays, and Ayumu Murase as Rolo, among others.
Season 2 details, including its premiere date and returning cast and crew, have yet to be announced, but the confirmation alone has been enough to spark excitement among fans of the series.
The light novel originally debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2019, and was later picked up by Earth Star Entertainment in 2020.
A manga adaptation by KRSG is currently serialized in Comic Earth Star. J-Novel Club publishes both the light novel and manga in English.
