WEBTOON is bringing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin and Cyberpunk 2077 to its platform this August.
WEBTOON Entertainment has announced the official launch dates for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin and Cyberpunk 2077, as part of its expanding lineup of Western comics.
The news was revealed during the “Page to Pixel” panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
TMNT: The Last Ronin will hit the platform on August 23, bringing the story of a lone surviving Turtle on a dark quest for justice in a ruined New York City.
Reimagined in WEBTOON’s signature vertical scroll format, this adaptation promises to offer both long-time fans and new readers a fresh perspective on the acclaimed five-part miniseries originally released by IDW Publishing.
The series, written by Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, and Tom Waltz, with art by Ben Bishop and Esau & Isaac Escorza, explores themes of vengeance, loss, and redemption.
It joins other IDW titles already on WEBTOON, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Beneath the Trees, and Godzilla: Unnatural Disasters.
In addition, Cyberpunk 2077 will debut on August 8 as the first result of WEBTOON’s collaboration with Dark Horse Comics.
Readers can expect a gritty, neon-lit journey through Night City, now optimized for mobile reading through the vertical format.
This marks the continuation of WEBTOON’s broader strategy of adapting major Western franchises for a digital-first global audience.
These launches follow earlier announcements of partnerships with both IDW and Dark Horse, reflecting WEBTOON’s commitment to bridging comic book traditions with modern reading habits.
